VERY REV. FR. YITIEREH CLOCKS 25-YEARS AS A PRIEST

IMG_0617-1600x1200A Thanksgiving Mass was on July 25, 2020, celebrated at the Our Lady of Annunciation Cathedral in Tamale to mark the Silver Jubilee priestly anniversary of Very Rev. Fr. Matthew Yitiereh, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Tamale. Most Rev. Philip Naameh, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale, concelebrated the Mass which was presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Yitiereh. Thirty priests, among them, Provincial Superiors, Seminary Rectors and Formators and Heads of Departments, among others, attended the Mass. Most Rev. Peter Paul Angkyier, Bishop of Damongo Diocese who was the homilist, commended Very Rev. Fr. Yitiereh for his 25-years of service to the Catholic Church as a priest and teacher of the faith. He preached on the theme, “Thanksgiving for 25-years of priestly service”. In view of Covid-19 pandemic, attendance was restricted to only representatives of Religious Congregations, Church societies, family of Very Rev. Yitiereh and invited guests. Worthy Bro. Philip Issahaku Ziblim, the Tamale Regional Grand Knight and Respected Lady Sis. Beatrice Seidu, the Immediate Past Regional Noble Lady, represented the Knights and Ladies of Marshall.
